1. How does delivery work?
Your food is prepared, packaged and labelled for you. Our driver picks up the orders and delivers right to your door. Our driver will leave your food bin at a location of your choosing should you not be home. If there are no special instructions, our driver will leave the food in a safe and protected place, likely on your front porch.
2. How do I place an order?
All orders are placed online. With today’s busy schedule, this gives you an opportunity to order at your convenience, any time of day! Just make sure that you order prior to Wednesday midnight for deliveries the following Monday or Tuesday. To open a new account just select here and set up your account online, or set it up when you check out. Remember our Wednesday midnight cut off time, and be sure to get your order in on time. If you do need to input a late order, just send us a note or call us. Once the order is placed, the order is final, and your credit card is processed immediately. • Go to the Order Now location and our easy ordering system will allow you to add products to your shopping cart, and check out with ease.

• Please double check your order to ensure that your order is correct, and retain your confirmation email after submitting your order. This is your receipt.
3. What if I need to change my order?
All orders are final once they have been processed, so please keep this in mind when you place your order. Should you have a last minute situation where you will be out of town, or not available to receive of your order, you may consider giving this food as a gift to a friend or family member. Please call us immediately at 403-265-CHEF if this situation occurs.
4. Is there a minimum order?
We have no minimum order size. Until August 31, delivery is FREE. Please identify your preference for payment either with e-transfer or credit card. Frozen foods can be kept for longer periods, and most fresh prepared foods are good for up to 2-3 days. It is easy for a family to consume our delicious foods in that time or less, and it is comforting for you to know that there is delicious healthy prepared food in the fridge for those last minute meals, or midnight snacks!
5. How do I pay for my order?
Your orders are processed through our ecommerce system. You can pay via Master Card or Visa with Paypal, and at no time do we handle your credit card information directly. If you prefer to pay via interac, please make a note in the Comments of your order and send the payment to info@healthychefdelivery.com
6. How does Healthy Chef ensure that my financial information is secure?
At Healthy Chef Delivery, your security is our #1 priority. Paypal eCommerce protects your data with the same military-grade security and encryption the big banks use. All of your confidential Credit card information is held private. If at any time we cannot fulfill your order you have a full money back guarantee. This right is also protected by Paypal eCommerce policies and regulations.
7. Why do we have a deadline for ordering?
Your food is prepared specifically for your order. Ingredients are freshly acquired, and special requests are honoured. Preparation and packaging takes time and we wish to ensure that you are totally satisfied. Please ensure that your orders are placed by Sunday midnight to ensure that you are not disappointed!! If you do input past the deadline, give us a call.
8. How does Healthy Chef Delivery handle the bins?
We currently have no packaging fee due to high bin return rate. We have found that Calgary households appreciate the opportunity to re-cycle and regular clients are happy to place the bins at the door for convenient pick up at the next delivery time. We chose this method, as we wish to provide the most economical packaging for you. As long as you continue to re-cycle your bin, this is a one-time cost!
This bin fee is being waived as we are experiencing a very high bin return rate!
9. What do I need to know about delivery?
When you order, please identify any specific delivery instructions. Check your address, instructions, postal code and phone number to ensure accuracy. We will deliver directly to your door in the afternoon between 2 and 5 pm. If you have other requirements, please email or call us and we will accommodate. Please place the food your refrigerator and freezer right away to maintain freshness.
If your delivery address is inaccurate and/or your delivery location cannot be found, your order will be donated to a food bank the next morning. Every effort will be made to locate you! Please ensure that your telephone number and address is correct.
Your orders come packaged in bins and with freezer packs to retain freshness. Please put your empty reusable delivery bins and freezer packs out for pick up by our driver when a new HCD order is delivered. This way we can continue to re-cycle the bin. With our current physical distancing procedures, the bin will be dropped off on your doorstep, and we will pickup the bin on Friday or on your next order.

10. Can I make a request for you to carry a particular product or prepared recipe?
We love to get input from our customers! We are regularly adding new products and prepared meals to our selection all the time and will have seasonal changes every 120 days. If you cannot find a meal item that you really want please send us a message. Our product team will review your request.
